Paper Submission Guidelines

Papers for ISMRA2025 will be published in a special issue of the Proceedings On Meetings on Acoustics (POMA) under the International Symposium on Musical and Room Acoustics (ISMRA). Submit your manuscript on the POMA website using this link (https://www.editorialmanager.com/poma/default.aspx).

Please follow the Instructions for Authors. First time authors will need to register, after which they can log into the system. Authors can indicate within the POMA system that their manuscript is associated with ISMRA2025.

Manuscripts should conform to general POMA guidelines. Authors should download a template in either MSWord or LaTeX format. These templates contain detailed information about manuscript format and guidelines. The submitted manuscript should be “camera ready” in pdf format. Note that there is a 12 page limit, including figures.

The initial submission date is approximately one month prior to the symposium. A panel of guest associate editors will review all manuscripts for general writing quality, technical issues, and suitability for ISMRA. Feedback on the manuscripts, along with provisional acceptance, will be provided to authors within three weeks of submission. Only papers that have been accepted can be presented during the symposium; ISMRA has a no paper/no podium-no poster policy.

Manuscripts may be revised before final submission in response to editor or conference audience feedback. The final submission deadline is four weeks after the conclusion of the symposium. Only papers that were presented at ISMRA2025 will be accepted for publication.
